YUSTE FOUNDATION PRESENTS SIX PROPOSALS WITHIN THE 19TH EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER COURSES
The Director of European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno Piñero, has announced today that the Foundation will put forward six proposals within its training programme Yuste Campus -included in the 19th edition of the International Summer Courses organised by the University of Extremadura-. These courses will be given by approximately 90 speakers from European and Ibero-American universities, international organisms, such as the European Parliament or United Nations, and from the world of business and institutions.
These courses will take place at the Royal Monastery of Yuste –the Foundation’s headquarters-, and are the following: ‘Las relaciones América Latina y la Unión Europa: ¿una alianza política renovada?’ (“Latin American and the European Union Relations: a Renewed Political Alliance?”), from the 25th to the 26th of June; ‘Los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible: Avances y retos en la Agenda 2030’(“Sustainable Development Goals: Progress and Challenges of the 2030 Agenda”), from the 27th to the 29th of June; ‘Carlos V: guerra y paz a ambos lados del Atlántico’ (“Charles V: War and Peace on Both Sides of the Atlantic”), from the 4th to the 6th of July; ‘Resolución de conflictos, paz, género y desarrollo’ (“Conflict Resolution, Peace, Gender and Development”), from the 11th to the 13th of July; ‘Logros y límites de 60 años de integración europea’ (“Achievements and Limitations of 60 Years of European Integration”), from the 18th to the 20th of July. The last course will be ‘Cultura, patrimonio y ciudadanía europea: reforzar la identidad europea a través de la educación y la cultura, y cómo gestionarlo’ (“European Culture, Heritage and Citizenship: Strengthening European Identity through Education and Culture, and How to Manage It), from the 24th to the 28th of September.
