The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the University of Extremadura (UEx) intend to call the II INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS (EXTREMADURA AND AMERICA), which intends to provide a space for the new research lines that young doctoral students and Americanist PhDs are carrying out. This Symposium will take place from the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0to the 26th<\/sup>\u00a0of October at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature of the University of Extremadura.<\/p>\n

The aims of the Symposium are the following:<\/p>\n

\u00d7 To delve into the interaction that has existed between Extremadura and America for the past five centuries.<\/p>\n

\u00d7 To prioritize the research work that has studied this relation; a relation that has been shaping a new historical reality in both areas and is found in a cultural and material heritage in many common cases.<\/p>\n

\u00d7 To make progression in studies on migratory flows between Extremadura and America.<\/p>\n

\u00d7 To offer a space for debate having as an essential premise the participation of young researchers in the field of American History.<\/p>\n

\"\"25 y 26 de octubre de 2018<\/strong><\/p>

La Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste y la Universidad de Extremadura (UEx), se proponen convocar el II SIMPOSIO INTERNACIONAL PARA J\u00d3VENES INVESTIGADORES (EXTREMADURA Y AM\u00c9RICA) destinado a proporcionar un espacio a las nuevas l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n que est\u00e1n desarrollando los j\u00f3venes doctorandos y doctores americanistas. Dicho Simposio tendr\u00e1 lugar en C\u00e1ceres entre los d\u00edas 25 y 26 de octubre de 2018 en la Facultad de Filosof\u00eda y Letras de la UEx.<\/strong><\/p>

Los objetivos de este Simposio son:<\/p>

\u00d7 Profundizar en la interacci\u00f3n que a lo largo de cinco siglos ha venido produci\u00e9ndose entre Extremadura y Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>

\u00d7 Dar prioridad a las investigaciones que han estudiado esta relaci\u00f3n, la cual ha ido configurando una realidad hist\u00f3rica en ambos espacios, constatada en una herencia cultural y material en muchos casos com\u00fan.<\/p>

\u00d7 Progresar en los estudios sobre los flujos migratorios entre Extremadura y Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>

\u00d7 Plantear un espacio para el debate teniendo como premisa fundamental la participaci\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes investigadores en el \u00e1mbito de la Historia de Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>
