The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation presented the posthumous work of the economist and political scientist Viktor Sukup: El Caribe frente a los desaf\u00edos del futuro, in Madrid. This is a \u201cpanoramic reflection\u201d where he examines history and the reality of the Caribbean region as well as the multiplicity of its people and cultures.<\/p>\n

The following assistants participated during the volume\u2019s presentation, which took place at the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB): the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation\u2019s Academic Director, C\u00e9sar Chaparro; the Ambassador of Costa Rica in Spain, Doris Osterlof; the former President of the European Parliament, Enrique Bar\u00f3n Crespo; the Director of External Relations of the SEGIB, Mar\u00eda Salvadora Ortiz, and the widow of the author, Marta Cazon. The presentation was also attended by the Minister Counselor and Charg\u00e9 d’Affaires of the Embassy of Haiti, Olga Medor Ducasse and by the director of the European and Ibero-Ameican Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno.<\/p>\n
