The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation offers 230 grants in order to cover the tuition fees as well as the accommodation and subsistence costs of those who wish to attend the international summer courses organised by the Foundation within its Yuste Campus programme, in collaboration with the University of Extremadura. The courses will be held during June, July and September 2018, at the Royal Monastery of Yuste.<\/p>\n
The beneficiaries of the grants will be those who meet the following requirements: be nationals of a European Union country or third countries when proving that he\/she is a permanent resident of a European Union country; be enrolled or have completed a degree two years before the present call -these should be official degrees of the European Union- and not be in receipt of any other study grant and\/or subsidy for the same concept and for the same course. The procedure for granting the established aid in the present call is competitive concurrence and the academic record will be borne in mind among the selection criteria.<\/p>\n

. \u2018Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible: Avances y retos en la Agenda 2030\u2019 (\u201cSustainable Development Goals: Progress and Challenges of the 2030 Agenda\u201d), from the 27th to the 29th of June.<\/p>\n
. \u2018Carlos V: guerra y paz a ambos lados del Atl\u00e1ntico\u2019 (\u201cCharles V: War and Peace on Both Sides of the Atlantic\u201d), from the 4th to the 6th of July.<\/p>\n
. \u2018Resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos, paz, g\u00e9nero y desarrollo\u2019 (\u201cConflict Resolution, Peace, Gender and Development\u201d), from the 11th to the 13th of July.<\/p>\n

. \u2018Cultura, patrimonio y ciudadan\u00eda europea: reforzar la identidad europea a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n y la cultura, y c\u00f3mo gestionarlo\u2019 (\u201cEuropean Culture, Heritage and Citizenship: Strengthening European Identity through Education and Culture, and How to Manage It), from the 24th to the 28th of September.<\/p>\n
The deadline for the submission of applications will be open from tomorrow, 5th<\/sup> of June, until the 18th<\/sup> of June as far as the courses held during June and July are concerned and until the 23rd<\/sup> of July regarding the course held from the 24th<\/sup> to the 28th<\/sup> September. Approximately a hundred teachers and experts from European countries, such as Spain, Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and Portugal will participate in these courses as well as from Ibero-American countries, such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina and Uruguay.<\/p>\n The courses are, furthermore, open to the public until the day before the beginning of each course, and until seating capacity is reached, with free registration via the website: https:\/\/www.fundacionyuste.org\/actividades\/cursos-verano-otono-2\/<\/a><\/p>\n The courses are held in collaboration with the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB); the University for Peace of Costa Rica; the Poverty Eradication and Sustainable Development Chair – a United Nations Development Programme (PNUD) of the Rey Juan Carlos University; the Cooperation Network of European Routes of Emperor Charles V; the Netherlands Business Academy and the Jean Monnet Module of the University of Extremadura. They are sponsored by the Extremaduran Agency for International Development Cooperation (AEXCID); the European Union \u2013 Latin America and Caribbean Foundation (EU-LAC Foundation) and the European Union\u2019s Erasmus Plus Programme.<\/p>\n YUSTE CAMPUS<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The objective of this training programme is to carry out specialised courses and encounters aimed at encouraging the debate and reflection of university students, researchers and professionals on the process of European construction and integration, as well as on European current affairs and other subjects regarding European and Ibero-American history and remembrance, or the foundation\u2019s foundational objectives. All this from a multidisciplinary perspective and in a unique context as is the Royal Monastery of Yuste, which enables the contact and exchange of knowledge among students and speakers, who will share reflections with experts on the subject matter and first-rate personalities form the academic, political or social area, thus making it a space for reflection, thought, culture and science.<\/p>\n The aim of the Yuste Campus grants is to make the training programme known and invite as many people possible, even beyond national borders, in order to enable the participation and presence of university students, researchers, experts and professionals interested in each subject area. Los cursos se celebrar\u00e1n durante los meses de junio, julio y septiembre de 2018 en el Real Monasterio de Yuste.<\/p> Podr\u00e1n ser beneficiarios de una beca las personas que cumplan los siguientes requisitos: poseer la nacionalidad de un pa\u00eds de la Uni\u00f3n Europea o de terceros pa\u00edses cuando se acredite la condici\u00f3n de residente en alg\u00fan pa\u00eds comunitario; estar matriculadas o haber terminado la titulaci\u00f3n en los dos a\u00f1os anteriores a la convocatoria en titulaciones oficiales de universidades de la Uni\u00f3n Europea, y no disfrutar de otras becas y\/o ayudas al estudio por el mismo concepto y para el mismo curso. El procedimiento para la concesi\u00f3n de las ayudas establecidas en la presente convocatoria es el de concurrencia competitiva y entre los criterios de selecci\u00f3n se tendr\u00e1 en cuenta el expediente acad\u00e9mico.<\/p> Los cursos ofertados con beca son:<\/p> . \u2018Las relaciones entre la Uni\u00f3n Europea y Am\u00e9rica Latina en un mundo incierto, \u00bfuna alianza pol\u00edtica renovada?\u2019, que se celebrar\u00e1 los d\u00edas 25 y 26 de junio. El plazo de presentaci\u00f3n de las solicitudes estar\u00e1 abierto desde ma\u00f1ana, d\u00eda 5 de junio hasta el d\u00eda 18 de junio para los cursos que se celebran en junio y julio, y hasta el 23 de julio para el curso que se celebrar\u00e1 del 24 al 28 de septiembre.
