The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, the University of Salamanca and the CEU San Pablo University have signed a framework collaboration agreement to set channels that may enable carrying out academic and cultural actions that delve into the relation between Extremadura, Europe and Ibero-America.<\/p>\n

This document has been sealed by the Director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno; the Rector of the University of Salamanca, Ricardo Rivero, and the Rector of the CEU San Pablo Univeristy, Antonio Calvo Bernardino.<\/p>\n

The main aim of this framework agreement, which has a duration of two years renewable for successive annual periods thereafter, is to establish the basic principles of collaboration between these three institutions in order to carry out study, debate and reflection activities on European integration and the relations between the European Union and Ibero-America.<\/p>\n

It, furthermore, seeks to carry out research projects, programmes and encounters related to Europe\u2019s history and memory, humanism and the figure of Charles V.<\/p>\n

The first joint activity including these three institutions has been the organisation of the International Congress \u201cCharles V, Vitoria and Erasmus in Yuste\u201d.<\/p>\n

La Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, la Universidad de Salamanca y la Universidad CEU-San Pablo han suscrito un convenio marco de colaboraci\u00f3n para establecer cauces que posibiliten acciones acad\u00e9micas y culturales que profundicen en la relaci\u00f3n de Extremadura con Europa e Iberoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>

El convenio ha sido rubricado por el director de la Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, Juan Carlos Moreno; el rector de la Universidad de Salamanca, Ricardo Rivero, y el rector de la Universidad CEU San Pablo, Antonio Calvo Bernardino.<\/p>

El objeto de este convenio marco, que tiene una vigencia de dos a\u00f1os prorrogable por periodos anuales, es establecer los principios b\u00e1sicos de colaboraci\u00f3n entre estas tres instituciones para el desarrollo de actividades relacionadas con el estudio, debate y reflexi\u00f3n del proceso de integraci\u00f3n europea y las relaciones entre la Uni\u00f3n Europea e Iberoam\u00e9rica. As\u00ed como la realizaci\u00f3n de proyectos, programas y encuentros ligados a la historia y memoria de Europa, al humanismo y a la figura de Carlos V.<\/p>

La primera actividad conjunta entre estas tres instituciones ha sido la celebraci\u00f3n del Congreso Internacional \u2018Carlos V, Vitoria y Erasmo en Yuste\u2019.<\/p>
