The group \u201cCollegium Musicum Madrid\u201d will give a concert next Saturday 16 June at 13:00 pm, at the Royal Monastery of Yuste. This will be the second concert scheduled within the cycle of the Emperor\u2019s Concerts organised by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation.<\/strong><\/p>\n This activity is carried out in collaboration with National Heritage and the Cooperation Network of European Routes of Emperor Charles V.<\/p>\n The group will interpret a programme entitled Todos los bienes del mundo en el 550 aniversario del nacimineto de Juan del Encina<\/em> as a commemoration of the playwright and singer from Zamora\u2019s death and includes fifteen pieces with instrumental music of the time: pieces for the vihuela of Luis de Mil\u00e1n and Luis de Narv\u00e1ez; music for viola da gamba of Diego Ortiz and pieces for the flute of Francisco de la Torre.<\/p>\n Collegium Musicum Madrid was created in 2012 in an attempt to recover the musical historical heritage of the 16th<\/sup>, 17th<\/sup> and 18th<\/sup> centuries applying historicist criteria. Since then, Baroque opera has been the object of their dedication carrying out productions, such as L`Orfeo<\/em>, by Claudio Monteverdi, in 2013 or Gli amori d`Apollo e di Diphne<\/em>, by Francesco Cavalli, in 2015.<\/p>\n This group opened the International Festival of Sacred Art of the Community of Madrid, interpreting Vespers<\/em>, by Claudio Monteverdi.<\/p>\n The members of the musical group are also members of the best orchestras and national as well as international groups, such as Monteverdi Choir, Gabrieli Consort and Players, Al Ayre Espa\u00f1ol, La Petite Bande, Concerto K\u00f6ln or Il Giardino Armonico, among others.<\/p>\n The musical group is directed by Manuel Minguill\u00f3n, who is also the Artistic Director of Alama Music Management.
