The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation organises the course \u201cCulture, Heritage and European Citizenship: Strengthening European Identity through Education and Culture, and How to Manage It\u201d that will take place from the 24th<\/sup> to the 28th<\/sup> of September, at the Royal Monastery of Yuste.<\/p>\n This course closes the training programme Yuste Campus organised by Yuste Foundation in the framework of the University of Extremadura\u2019s international summer courses.<\/p>\n The course\u2019s main aim, which is held completely in English, \u00a0is to develop skills and perspectives to train students who wish to develop entrepreneurial skills as far as heritage and the cultural sector management is concerned, interacting with the citizenship and other areas and offering and inter and multidisciplinary vision.<\/p>\n The course will be opened by the Director of the project on Culture, Heritage and European Citizenship, (MBA Culture, Heritage & Citizenship \u2013MBA CHC-), who is also the Director of the course, Steve Austen; the Director of the Heritage Research Institute of the University of Extremadura and Secretary of the course, Felipe Leco Berrocal; the Vice-Rector of Quality from the University of Extremadura, Juan Carlos Preciado Rodr\u00edguez and the Director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno Pi\u00f1ero.<\/p>\n Some of the participants are: Abram de Swaan, member of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste; Doctor Inge Ceustermans, Managing Director of the Festival Academy; Professor Mario Neve from the Netherlands; Professor Izabella Ag\u00e1rdi, Research fellow at the iAsk Institute of Advanced Studies and Miriam Garc\u00eda Cabezas, General Secretary of Culture from the Regional Government of Extremadura, among other professors and experts from Austrian, Dutch, German, Hungarian and Italian important institutions.<\/p>\n 41 students, of the 122 applications received by the Foundation will finally attend the course. These students come from the following universities: Complutense of Madrid; UNED; Salamanca; Huelva; Ja\u00e9n; the Pontifical University of Salamanca; Granada; Seville; Carlos III; the Autonomous University of Madrid; the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (Valladolid); the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Pablo de Olavide University (Seville).<\/p>\n The sessions are organised in the framework of a European project co-financed by the Erasmus Plus Programme in order to develop a European interdisciplinary curriculum that will launch a Master of Business Administration (MBA) on Culture, Heritage & Citizenship -MBA CHC- in English) co-financed by the Erasmus Plus Programme. La Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste organiza el curso \u2018Cultura, patrimonio y ciudadan\u00eda europea: reforzar la identidad europea a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n y la cultura, y c\u00f3mo gestionarlo\u2019 que se celebrar\u00e1 en el Real Monasterio de Yuste del 24 al 28 de septiembre. Con este curso se cierra el programa formativo Campus Yuste que organiza la Fundaci\u00f3n Yuste en el marco de los cursos internacionales de verano de la Universidad de Extremadura. El curso, que se desarrollar\u00e1 \u00edntegramente en ingl\u00e9s, tiene como principal objetivo desarrollar las habilidades y perspectivas para la formaci\u00f3n de estudiantes que deseen desarrollar t\u00e9cnicas empresariales en el campo de la gesti\u00f3n del patrimonio y el sector cultural interactuando con la ciudadan\u00eda y otros campos, ofreciendo una visi\u00f3n inter y multidisciplinar. El curso ser\u00e1 inaugurado por el director del proyecto sobre Cultura, Patrimonio y Ciudadan\u00eda Europea, (MBA Culture, Heritage & Citizenship (MBA CHC) y director del curso, Steve Austen; el director del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n del Patrimonio de la Universidad de Extremadura y Secretario del Curso, Felipe Leco Berrocal; el vicerrector de Calidad de la Universidad de Extremadura, Juan Carlos Preciado Rodr\u00edguez, y el director de la Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, Juan Carlos Moreno Pi\u00f1ero. Algunos de los ponentes son Abram de Swaan, miembro de la Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste; la Dra. Inge Ceustermans, directora general de la Academia de Festivales; el Prof. Mario Neve, de la Universidad de Bolonia, el profesor Jan Van Zwieten, rector de la Academia de Negocios de los Pa\u00edses Bajos, la Profra. Izabella Ag\u00e1rdi, investigadora del Instituto de Estudios Avanzados iAsk de Hungr\u00eda, y Miriam Garc\u00eda Cabezas, secretaria general de Cultura de la Junta de Extremadura, entre otros profesores y expertos pertenecientes a importantes instituciones de Austria, Holanda, Alemania, Hungr\u00eda e Italia. De las ciento veintid\u00f3s solicitudes recibidas, finalmente asistir\u00e1n cuarenta y un estudiantes de las universidades Complutense de Madrid, UNED, Salamanca, Huelva, Ja\u00e9n, Pontificia de Salamanca, Granada, Sevilla, Salamanca, Carlos III, Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid, Universidad de Extremadura, Rey Juan Carlos, Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez (Valladolid), Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia y Pablo de Olavide (Sevilla). Las jornadas se organizan en el marco de un proyecto europeo cofinanciado por el Programa Europeo Eramus Plus para la creaci\u00f3n de un curriculum interdisciplinar europeo con el objetivo de poner en marcha un Master de Gesti\u00f3n de Negocios (MBA) sobre Cultura, Patrimonio y Ciudadan\u00eda Europea, (MBA Culture, Heritage & Citizenship (MBA CHC) en ingl\u00e9s) cofinanciado por el Programa Erasmus Plus. El proyecto est\u00e1 liderado por la Academia de Negocios de los Pa\u00edses Bajos (Netherlands Business Academy), con sede en Breda. Clausura programa Campus Yuste<\/strong> El Campus Yuste es el programa formativo de la Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, y tiene como objetivo desarrollar cursos y encuentros especializados dirigidos a fomentar el debate y la reflexi\u00f3n de los universitarios, investigadores y profesionales sobre el proceso de construcci\u00f3n e integraci\u00f3n europea, as\u00ed como asuntos de actualidad europea e iberoamericana, y otros temas relacionados con la historia y la memoria de Europa e Iberoam\u00e9rica, o los objetivos fundacionales de la fundaci\u00f3n. Todo ello desde un punto de vista multidisciplinar y en un marco singular, como es el Real Monasterio de Yuste, lo que facilita el contacto e intercambio de conocimiento entre los alumnos y los ponentes que compartir\u00e1n reflexiones con expertos en la materia y personalidades de primer nivel acad\u00e9mico, pol\u00edtico o social, siendo en definitiva, un espacio para la reflexi\u00f3n, el pensamiento, la cultura y la ciencia.
