The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation participates in the annual meeting held by the Council of Rectors and the Technical Academic Group of the Latin American Universities Association, AULA. This meeting, attended by the Director and the Academic Director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno Pi\u00f1ero and C\u00e9sar Chaparro respectively, is being held at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon in order to promote and coordinate academic programmes via virtual environments of higher education.<\/p>\n
Among the subjects dealt with is the redesign and impulse of the Ibero-American Virtual Magazine of Social Sciences, REVIBE, produced by Yuste Foundation, in order for it to become a modern digital academic platform of the 21st<\/sup> century. REVIBE intends to create its own scientific space for Ibero-American cultural and educational identity. To this end, its contents are based on the opening of new perspectives and interdisciplinary research areas that may strengthen new visions as far as the American world is concerned. The management team, furthermore, intends to work and boost its presence on the net and social media.<\/p>\n This is how the changes carried out have, thus, been presented in CAVILA\u2019s website as well as the progress of the book of AULA-CAVILA\u2019s tenth anniversary.<\/p>\n Latin American Universities Association<\/strong><\/p>\n AULA is an association that was supported by the former Extremaduran Centre for Studies and Cooperation with Ibero-America (CEXECI) and the University of Extremadura in 2007.The association is composed by the following nineteen public universities from eleven Latin American countries up until now: the Argentinian national universities of La Plata, Entre R\u00edos, Northwest from the Province of Buenos Aires, C\u00f3rdoba, Quilmes and the National University from the Northeast; the University of Porto and the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, form Portugal; the University of Extremadura (Spain); the Mexican universities of Guadalajara and the Autonomous University of Chiapas; the University of Santiago de Chile; the National Autonomous University of Honduras; the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua; the University of Panam\u00e1; the Federal University of Santa Maria (Brazil); the University of the Asunci\u00f3n of Paraguay; the Autonomous Latin American University of Medell\u00edn and the Agrarian University of Havana. Moreover, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation is honorary member of AULA.<\/p>\n
