The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, the University of Extremadura and the Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero Foundation have signed a collaboration framework agreement to establish channels that may enable cultural and academic actions in order to enhance the figure of Diego Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero and constitutional and the democratic values that he promoted.<\/p>\n
The agreement has been initialled by the Director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno; the Rector of the University of Extremadura, Segundo P\u00edriz, and the Mayor of Cabeza del Buey and President of the Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero Foundation, Ana Bel\u00e9n Valls.<\/p>\n
Those responsible of each signing institution agreed on the relevance of this agreement due to its significance as far as the acknowledgement of the illustrious citizen from Cabeza del Buey is concerned; \u00a0alma mater of the Constitution of C\u00e1diz of 1812, of the constitutional values he defended and their current projection. They have, furthermore, highlighted the importance of this agreement in the dissemination of these goals among the Extremaduran youth \u201cwho are the future of the region and should know about those Extremadurans who fought for this land and country, for the culture and the defence of constitutional values\u201d.<\/p>\n
The main aim of this collaboration framework agreement, which has a term of four renewable years, is to establish the basic collaboration principles among these three institutions in order to carry out activities related to the study, reflection and dissemination of the figure of Diego Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero, Spanish constitutionalism and its values, Spanish History and the relations between the European Union and Ibero-America. This could mean carrying out research projects, courses, seminars, exhibitions or the edition of publications, among other activities.<\/p>\n

La Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, la Universidad de Extremadura (UEx) y la Fundaci\u00f3n Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero han suscrito un acuerdo marco de colaboraci\u00f3n para establecer cauces que posibiliten acciones culturales y acad\u00e9micas que contribuyan a la puesta en valor de la figura de Diego Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero y los valores constitucionales y democr\u00e1ticos que \u00e9l promovi\u00f3.<\/p>
El convenio ha sido rubricado por el director de la Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, Juan Carlos Moreno; el rector de la UEx, Segundo P\u00edriz, y la alcaldesa de Cabeza de Buey y presidenta de la Fundaci\u00f3n Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero, Ana Bel\u00e9n Valls.<\/p>
Los tres responsables de las instituciones firmantes han coincidido en la relevancia de este acuerdo por lo que significa para el reconocimiento del ilustre caputbovense, alma m\u00e1ter de la Constituci\u00f3n de C\u00e1diz de 1812, para los valores constitucionales que \u00e9l defendi\u00f3 y la proyecci\u00f3n de los mismos en la actualidad.<\/p>
Adem\u00e1s, han destacado la importancia de este acuerdo para la difusi\u00f3n de estos prop\u00f3sitos entre los j\u00f3venes extreme\u00f1os, \u201cque son el futuro de la regi\u00f3n y los que deben tener el conocimiento de aquellos extreme\u00f1os que lucharon por este pa\u00eds y esta tierra, por la cultura y la defensa de los valores constitucionales\u201d.<\/p>
El objeto de este acuerdo marco de colaboraci\u00f3n, que tiene una vigencia de cuatro a\u00f1os prorrogables, es establecer los principios b\u00e1sicos de colaboraci\u00f3n entre estas tres instituciones para el desarrollo de actividades relacionadas con el estudio, la reflexi\u00f3n y la difusi\u00f3n sobre la figura de Diego Mu\u00f1oz-Torrero, el constitucionalismo espa\u00f1ol y sus valores, la historia de Espa\u00f1a y las relaciones con la Uni\u00f3n Europea e Iberoam\u00e9rica. Esto puede materializarse en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n, cursos, seminarios, exposiciones o edici\u00f3n de publicaciones, entre otras actividades.<\/p>
