The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation will receive a visit by students of the Diplomatic School of Madrid on Friday, who will attend a seminar to find out about the work carried out by the foundation, and the meaning of this historic place in international relations.<\/p>\n
The seminar will start at 10:30 am, and will include talks by the director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno, who will talk about the historic and political meaning of Yuste; the Secretary-General and Manager of the Carolina Foundation, Hugo Camacho, who will give a detailed explanation on the intervention of his institution in Ibero-America; and lastly a talk by Senior Lecturer in International Public Law and International Relations at the University of Extremadura, Juan Manuel Rodr\u00edguez Barrig\u00f3n, who will talk about human rights in America.<\/p>\n
The Diplomatic School is a higher education centre dependent on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, which among its tasks has the continual training for civil servant diplomats; the training of civil servant diplomats in practical training positions; the organisation of master’s degrees, courses and seminars intended for Spanish and international post-graduate university students, including foreign diplomats and other groups interested in matters related to international relations and Spanish foreign policy.<\/p>\n
The school also serves as a public platform for the debate on matters regarding international affairs, with a particular emphasis on Spanish interests and foreign policy.<\/p>\n
This seminar is organised by the Diplomatic School of Madrid, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Ibero-American Institute of Rey Juan Carlos University, and collaborates with the \u201cFrancisco de Vitoria\u201d Institute of International and European Studies at Carlos III University of Madrid and Banco Santander.<\/p>\n
