(Campillo de Llerena, Badajoz, 1961) es licenciado en Medicina por la universidad de Sevilla y especialista en Antropolog\u00eda Forense por las universidades de Granada y Complutense de Madrid. Reparte su actividad docente entre un instituto de ense\u00f1anza secundaria, el IES \u201cJuan Lara\u201d, donde es profesor de Biolog\u00eda, y la Universidad de C\u00e1diz, donde trabaja como profesor asociado de Historia de la Medicina. Su trabajo como antrop\u00f3logo se centra en el estudio de los restos \u00f3seos procedentes de necr\u00f3polis prehist\u00f3ricas asociadas a megalitos, y otras de \u00e9poca romana y medieval. A partir de estos datos biol\u00f3gicos, intenta reconstruir el perfil de salud y enfermedad de las poblaciones antiguas. Es subdirector de la revista Panacea<\/em>, sobre traducci\u00f3n y lexicograf\u00eda m\u00e9dicas y acad\u00e9mico correspondiente de la Real Academia de Medicina y Cirug\u00eda de C\u00e1diz.<\/p>\n
