On the 2nd<\/sup> and 9th<\/sup> of February, 2019. From Jarandilla de la Vera to the Royal Monastery of Yuste<\/strong><\/p>\n

One more year, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation collaborates with the 20th<\/sup> Route of the Emperor, which will take place on February 2 between the localities of Jarandilla de la Vera, Aldeanueva de la Vera and Cuacos de Yuste.<\/p>\n

This route reminices Charles I of Spain and V of Germany\u2019s last journey from Jarandilla de la Vera to the Monastery of Yuste. Declared of Regional Tourist Interest, it has become the most well known in the region due to the great visitor and tourist flow it causes.<\/p>\n

Organised by the Inter-municipal Community of the Vera, it stands out due to the fact that it is an event full of history, heritage and nature with the recreation and setting of the time. The route covers approximately ten kilometres.<\/p>\n

This year, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation furthermore exhibits \u201cExtreme\u00f1os en Iberoam\u00e9rica y Europa-Historieta\u201d, at the Mirador Hall of Jarandilla de la Vera\u2019s Parador. It is an exhibition that shows the books published within its homonymous collection which intends to bring great historical characters from Extremadura closer to us. The exhibition may be visited until February 10. Lastly, the 17th<\/sup> equestrian route with the same itinerary will be held on Saturday, February 9.<\/p>\n
