Am\u00e9rica con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste.<\/strong><\/p> En su intervenci\u00f3n, la directora general de Acci\u00f3n Exterior, Rosa Balas, ha subrayado que un momento como el actual, en el que el multilateralismo no es prioritario para algunos pa\u00edses, tiene que llevar a Europa a mantener una alianza clave y estrat\u00e9gica con Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p> En el acto han intervenido tambi\u00e9n el director de la Fundaci\u00f3n Academia Europea e Iberoamericana de Yuste, Juan Carlos Moreno; el vicedecano de la Facultad de Derecho, Jes\u00fas Conde; el coordinador de las jornadas, Sixto S\u00e1nchez\u2013Lauro; el delegado de Defensa en Extremadura, Jes\u00fas Antonio Caballero Calzada, y el vicerrector de Extensi\u00f3n universitaria, Juan Carlos Iglesias.<\/p> Rosa Balas ha destacado adem\u00e1s que, en este nuevo periodo que la comisi\u00f3n europea acaba de comenzar, la relaci\u00f3n con Am\u00e9rica Latina tiene que ser clave, tal y como ha puesto de manifiesto el Alto Comisionado de la UE, Josep Borrell.<\/p> \u201cEs una oportunidad \u00fanica tener espacios como estas jornadas dedicados a temas tan importantes en la actualidad internacional como es Iberoam\u00e9rica y lo son especialmente para Extremadura que tiene a Europa y Am\u00e9rica Latina como dos de sus ejes Yuste, Juan Carlos Moreno.<\/p> En esas \u201clealtades y afectos\u201d ha incardinado la necesidad de que la Fundaci\u00f3n Yuste colabore con \"instituciones vitales\" del Estado como son las Fuerzas Armadas y las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado, porque \u201cen la defensa de los valores que han hecho de Espa\u00f1a una gran naci\u00f3n nadie sobra, y quienes decididamente Moreno ha subrayado que \u201cigual actitud debemos mantener cuando esta solidaridad la proyectamos a los pa\u00edses hermanos de Am\u00e9rica Latina\u201d, coincidiendo con la visi\u00f3n que inspira a la Fundaci\u00f3n Yuste para ser instrumento entre Europa e Iberoam\u00e9rica, con las que Espa\u00f1a y especialmente Extremadura \u201cse hallan tan ligadas por numerosos puentes, desde el hist\u00f3rico hasta el afectivo, el econ\u00f3mico o el de la seguridad\u201d.<\/p> Tras este acto, el representante de la Divisi\u00f3n de coordinaci\u00f3n y estudios de Seguridad y Defensa (SEGENPOL), Ram\u00f3n Lia\u00f1o N\u00fa\u00f1ez, ha sido el encargado de ofrecer la ponencia inaugural: \u201cDin\u00e1mica geopol\u00edtica en Iberoam\u00e9rica\u201d.<\/p> Adem\u00e1s, entre las actividades de las jornadas se ha celebrado una mesa redonda sobre \u201cViolencia y criminalidad en Iberoam\u00e9rica: una cuesti\u00f3n de seguridad nacional\u201d, moderada por el coronal Enrique Mart\u00edn de la Subdelegaci\u00f3n de Defensa.<\/p> En este foro tambi\u00e9n han participado Silvia Soriano, de la UEX, el teniente coronel Andr\u00e9s Gonz\u00e1lez, del Instituto Espa\u00f1ol de Estudios Estrat\u00e9gicos, y Sonia Alda, del Real Instituto Elcano.<\/p> Las jornadas continuar\u00e1n ma\u00f1ana mi\u00e9rcoles, en la sede de la Subdelegaci\u00f3n de Defensa en C\u00e1ceres, con
