The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, the University of Extremadura (UEx) and the Study Centre of Ibero-America of the Rey Juan Carlos University (CEIB-URJC) intend to convene the International Congress \u201cRelations Between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean: A Meeting Space\u201d<\/strong>, to be held in Guadalupe (C\u00e1ceres) on 18, 19 and 20 March 2021.<\/p>\n

The objectives of this Congress are:<\/p>\n

– To deepen the interaction that has been taking place between Europe and America for five centuries.<\/p>\n

– To prioritise in the research that has studied this relationship, which has been shaping a historical reality in both spaces, confirmed in a common cultural and material heritage in many common cases.<\/p>\n

– To make progress in studies on migratory flows between Extremadura, Europe and America.<\/p>\n

– To offer a space for debate based on the fundamental premise of the participation of young researchers in the field of Ibero-American history as a space for international historical relations.<\/p>\n
