The webinar \u201cGuadalupe, a Journey Between Europe and the East\u201d<\/strong> included in the cycle of meetings \u201cGuadalupe as a Destiny\u201d, is part of Guadalupe\u2019s events of exceptional public interest: the \u201c25th<\/sup> Anniversary of the Declaration of the Royal Monastery of Santa Mar\u00eda de Guadalupe as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO\u201d and the \u201cHoly Year of Guadalupe 2021\u201d.<\/p>\n

It is organised by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation in collaboration with the City Council of Guadalupe.<\/p>\n

The meeting will feature the participation of Antonio Ventura D\u00edaz D\u00edaz<\/strong>, Vice President of the Regional Government of Extremadura (1989-1993) and regional Minister for Culture (1993-1995), under whose charge Guadalupe was declared a World Heritage Site. Director of Yuste Foundation until 2013 and Pilar Mogoll\u00f3n Cano-Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, Professor of Art History at the University of Extremadura.<\/p>\n

Yuste Foundation wished to organise this cycle of meetings with the aim of holding a series of sessions of public interest, promoting dialogue on issues such as governance, science, history and culture.<\/p>\n
