The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, the University of Extremadura (UEx) and the Study Centre on Ibero-America of the Rey Juan Carlos University (CEIB-URJC) intend to convene the 2nd<\/sup> International Congress \u201cRelations Between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe: A Meeting Space<\/strong>\u201d, to be held in Guadalupe (C\u00e1ceres) on 23, 24 and 25 March 2022.<\/p>\n

The objectives of this Congress are the following:<\/p>\n

\u2013 To keep delving into the interaction that has been taking place between America and Europe for five centuries.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To prioritise in the research that has studied this relationship, which has been shaping a historical reality in both spaces, confirmed in a common cultural and material heritage in many common cases. And to focus on the aspects relating to democracy, the fight against organised crime and drug trafficking, as well as on the cultural aspects of the relationship between the two regions.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To keep making progress in studies on migratory flows.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To increase the debate between the two regions highlighting, above all, the participation of young researchers in the fields of International Relations and the History of Ibero-America as a space for the deep relations between the two regions.<\/p>\n
