<\/a>Yuste Foundation calls for the Research Prize to Ibero-American Doctoral Theses. <\/strong>(30\/12\/2021)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has opened the deadline for the submission of applications for the Research Prize to Ibero-American Doctoral Theses.<\/p>\n
This prize aims to support the development of research work, while encouraging reflection and the exchange of ideas among university students, researchers and professionals on Ibero-American and European topics.<\/p>\n
Theses that address the relations between Spain, Portugal or Europe as a whole with Ibero-America and vice versa, from a historical, cultural, social, scientific, economic perspective or from any other field of study as a topic may participate. The award-winning work will be published in the Foundation\u2019s book collection entitled \u201cTesis Doctorales\u201d and the winner will receive \u20ac3,000.<\/p>\n
Doctoral theses submitted for the award must be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese and must have been read in Portugal, Spain or any Ibero-American or European country during one of the two years preceding the publication of the call.<\/p>\n
In addition, they must have obtained the maximum rating established in the regulations in force at the time of their reading. The procedure for granting the prize is a competitive basis.<\/p>\n
Among the selection criteria, the jury will assess the scientific and literary quality as the soundness of the arguments used in the demonstration of the proposed hypotheses, the consistency and systematicity of the argumentation in the wording of the text or the creativity and originality of treatment, among other matters.<\/p>\n
The deadline for submitting applications is 11 February.<\/strong> Applications shall be made in the form set out in Annex I to this call together with the required documentation. They will be presented in the register of the headquarters of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, located in the Royal Monastery of Yuste, s\/n, 10430 Cuacos de Yuste (C\u00e1ceres), or via the post office, in which case they must be in an open envelope in order to indicate, by the person in charge of the office, the date on which the presentation and submission by registered post takes place.
