Jos\u00e9 Saramago: A Minute, a Century\u201d, to be held from 27 to 29 June; \u201cThe Worlds of Charles V. Humanism, Education and Transmission of Knowledge in Europe and America\u201d, from 6 to 8 July; \u201cYouth and Europe: The Past, Present and Future of Building a Peaceful Continent\u201d will be held from 13 to 15 July; \u201cThe Challenge of Working Together: EU-Latin American and the Caribbean Relations in the Face of Major Global Challenges\u201d, will be organised from 20 to 22 July. Finally, the course \u201cUniversal Accessibility, Social Inclusion and Leverage for Change towards Equality\u201d will be held from 21 to 23 September.<\/p>\n
For its part, Guadalupe will host the course entitled, \u201cElio Antonio de Nebrija: From Extremadura to America\u201d, which will take place from 27 to 29 July.<\/p>\n
As for online modality, within the 9th International Virtual School Cavila and within the framework of the courses programmed by the University of Extremadura, Yuste Foundation has organised two of them. They are the following: \u201cHeritage and Territorial Identity\u201d, which will be held from 27 June to 22 July, and \u201cTeaching by Means of Videos\u201d, from 14 to 16 September.<\/p>\n
CAMPUS YUSTE<\/strong><\/p>\nThis educational programme\u2019s goal is to carry out specialised courses and meetings from a multidisciplinary point of view. The aim of these activities is to foster debate and reflection among university students, researchers and professionals on the process of European construction and integration as well as on current European issues and other subjects related to the history and memory of Europe and Latin America, or the founding objectives of the foundation.<\/p>\n
Each year, the courses take place in a unique setting. the Monastery of San Jer\u00f3nimo de Yuste and Guadalupe, which enables contact and exchange of knowledge between students and the speakers who will share reflections with experts in the field and with personalities of the first academic, political or social level. The location is, in short, a space for reflection, thought, culture and science.<\/p>\n

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has received close to 650 applications for the eight courses offered within its Campus Yuste programme. Of the training offer, six are part of the 23rd edition of the University of Extremadura\u2019s international summer-autumn courses and two will be held through the Latin American Virtual Campus, Aula-Cavila.
