José Saramago: A Minute, a Century” is part of the official programme of commemorations that celebrate the centenary of the birth of Nobel Prize José Saramago and it has counted with the collaboration of the University of Extremadura, the University of Évora, National Heritage and the Councils of Cáceres and Badajoz, as well as support from the European Regional Development Fund Interreg Spain-Portugal.

IBERIAN DIALOGUES

This is the third year that Campus Yuste hosts a course on Iberian and transatlantic cultural dialogues. If in the 2020 edition it focused on the “identities in contact” and last year it analysed and reviewed the mark left by the avant-garde spirit throughout the 20th century and early 21st, in this edition the focus has been on the figure and the work of the Nobel Prize for Literature and Yuste’s academic, José Saramago.

In this manner, Yuste Foundation, in collaboration with the Office for Cross-Border Initiatives of the Regional Government of Extremadura, aims to strengthen relations in the area of linguistic, literary, cultural and academic cooperation, which represent an opportunity for development in cross-border regions such as Extremadura, as well as in the Ibero-American and other geographical areas where Spanish and Portuguese are working and communication languages.

You may register to watch the course online via the following link:

https://app.livestorm.co/fundacion-yuste/dialogos-ibericos-jose-saramago-un-minuto-un-siglo?type=detailed

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_post_nav in_same_term=”on” prev_text=”VER NOTICIA ANTERIOR” next_text=”VER NOTICIA SIGUIENTE” admin_label=”← NAVEGACION POR NOTICIAS →” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ custom_margin=”||3%|” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_post_nav][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Office for Cross-Border Initiatives are organising the course “Iberian Dialogues.
