<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nThe European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation together with the Asocici\u00f3n de Mujeres Laboralistas de Andaluc\u00eda and the Research Network of the Ministry of Science and Innovation \u201cLa protecci\u00f3n social y la coordinaci\u00f3n de sistemas de Seguridad Social en la Uni\u00f3n Europea e Iberoam\u00e9rica: los desaf\u00edos del Brexit y el Pilar Europeo de los Derechos Sociales\u201d, have organised the conference entitled \u201cGuadalupe Legal Sessions: Coordination of Social Security Systems. A Legal Bridge between the European Union and Ibero-America\u201d, which will be held on 19 and 20 September at the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Guadalupe. <\/strong>(16\/09\/2022)<\/p>\n The aim of these legal sessions is to analyse the coordination of social security systems within the European Union, in turn in connection with the Ibero-American countries. They will also examine the free movement of persons and workers and their involvement in the field of social security.<\/p>\n When choosing Guadalupe as the venue for the talks, the intention was to highlight its status as a \u201ccradle of Hispanity\u201d and promote its projection as an enclave for the promotion of research internationally. This was one of the aspirations of the Congress that was held in April 2022 in tribute to the native of Guadalupe, jurist Lorenzo Lebr\u00f3n de Qui\u00f1ones, who was the founder of the Audiencia de Nueva Galicia in Mexico. These sessions are thus another link in the achievement of such an objective.<\/p>\n This seminar is directed by the professors of Labour Law and Social Security of the University of Seville, Cristina S\u00e1nchez-Rodas Navarro and Esperanza Macarena Sierra Ben\u00edtez.<\/p>\n Among the speakers attending will be the president of the Superior Court of Justice of Extremadura, Mar\u00eda F\u00e9lix Tena Arag\u00f3n; the historian of law and graduate professor at the University of Buenos Aires, Sixto S\u00e1nchez-Lauro; the provincial director of the INSS and the TGSS of C\u00e1ceres, Alexandra D\u00edaz Mordillo; the vice president of the Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Salud y Seguridad Social, Carlos Garc\u00eda de Cort\u00e1zar Nebreda; the professors of the University of Seville Cristina S\u00e1nchez-Rodas, Mar\u00eda Teresa Igartua Mir\u00f3 and Esperanza Macarena Sierra Ben\u00edtez,\u00a0 among other teachers and experts.<\/p>\n The sessions count with the collaboration of the City Council of Guadalupe and the Franciscan community of the Royal Monastery of Santa Mar\u00eda de Guadalupe.<\/p>\n
