The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) signed a memorandum aimed at articulating the framework of collaboration between the two institutions in order to carry out activities in the fields of education and culture. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(01\/12\/2022)<\/p>\n

The agreement, which has a three-year duration, was signed this Thursday by the director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno, and the secretary general of the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), Mariano Jabonero.<\/p>\n

This cooperation lays the foundations for cooperation between the two institutions on education and culture, particularly in areas of mutual interest, such as relations between the European Union and Ibero-America and the promotion of cultural cooperation, education, training and research between EU countries and Latin America.<\/p>\n

The OEI is an international governmental organisation created for cooperation among the Ibero-American countries in the field of education, science, technology and culture, in the context of integral development, whose aims include: the promotion and cooperation with Member States in activities aimed at raising educational, scientific, technological and cultural standards; the promotion of education as a valid and viable alternative for peace-building through the preparation of human beings for the exercise of human rights and the changes that make more just societies for Ibero-America in the realisation of its educational, scientific-technological and cultural plans possible.<\/p>\n

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation is a non-profit public entity that has a cultural, scientific, research and dissemination nature; it is integrated into the founding public sector of the Regional Government of Extremadura and its objective is to contribute to the promotion and consolidation of the existing links between Extremadura, Europe and Ibero-America under the principles of loyalty, respect for the respective identity, mutual benefit and solidarity.<\/p>\n
