\"\"<\/a>Spain and Extremadura have twice as many hours of sunshine as their European partners as well as good wind conditions. The renewable energy revolution is already demanding that we have abundant and cheaper primary energy sources than our European partners for the first time in our history.<\/p>\n

Businesses in the 18th<\/sup> and 19th<\/sup> century industrial revolution concentrated in areas where coal was plentiful and cheaper. Extremadura is the leading community in solar development per inhabitant in Europe and it is crucial to have an industrial policy that allows to take advantage of cheap energy to develop industry, employment and improve productivity and wages.<\/p>\n

At the seminar, we will analyse the industrial potential of Extremadura; real cases of Extremaduran companies that have improved their competitiveness and employment thanks to renewables will be shared and the issue of how to finance business growth will be discussed; a determinant to increase employment, productivity and wages.<\/p>\n
