<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nFifty judges and magistrates, notaries and property registrars participate in the course \u201cAgrarian and Livestock Law\u201d that has been inaugurated at the Parador de Turismo of Jarandilla de la Vera (C\u00e1ceres) as a result of the agreement signed between the General Council of the Judiciary and the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and which emerges with the aim of making Extremadura a national reference in this legal science. <\/strong>(14\/03\/2023)<\/p>\n The opening ceremony was attended by the first vice president and regional minister of Finance and Public Administration, Pilar Blanco-Morales Limones, who explained that numerous opinions of the advisory council of judges encourage \u201cthe judiciary to interact with society\u201d.<\/p>\n She also referred to the ruling \u201cJustice and Society\u201d because it mandates the Councils of Justice to \u201cto encourage the participation of judges in all training activities, because judges must follow developments in law not only in theory but also in practice\u201d.<\/p>\n The director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno Pi\u00f1ero, in turn, claimed that with this course \u201ca new scenario of training, sharing and reflection of professionals of the law is inaugurated\u201d. Moreno Pi\u00f1ero stated that \u201cLaw is not an exact science but it is a rigorous science and we certainly want to contribute to that rigour\u201d.<\/p>\n The president of the Superior Court of Justice of Extremadura, Mar\u00eda F\u00e9lix Tena Arag\u00f3n, highlighted the importance of advancing the study of Agrarian and Livestock Law in our region as \u201cit makes up 90 percent of civil and criminal matters of the rural courts\u201d.<\/p>\n In this sense, the president recalled that matters of spatial planning, environmental crimes, CAP claims and temporary contracts, among other matters, have to do with this type of Law.<\/p>\n Tena Arag\u00f3n stressed that this forum for debate and research has been possible thanks to institutional collaboration and that \u201cit emerges with the vocation of putting agrarian and livestock Law and rural Spain on the map\u201d.<\/p>\n Also speaking at the opening was the member of the General Council of the Judiciary, Juan Mart\u00ednez Moya, who stressed the importance of the agreement signed between the General Council of the Judiciary and the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, whose first formative activity materialises in this course, bringing closer and interrelating the legal field to civil society as the European Advisory Council pointed out in several of its rulings.<\/p>\n He also informed the participants of the union of the General Council of the Judiciary with Ibero-America through the Ibero-American Legal Summit in which 23 judiciaries participate and whose interest unites them in turn to Yuste Foundation.<\/p>\n The programme counts with the participation of jurists, academics, notaries and registrars and the Administration, such as Juli\u00e1n Mora Aliseda, professor of Spatial Planning and Environmental Sustainability Policies, Eduardo de Porres Ortiz de Urbina, magistrate of the Supreme Court or Sandra Pacheco Maya, general director of Labour of the Regional Government of Extremadura.<\/p>\n During the course, topics such as the formalities and consequences of the declaration of the SPA Area, contracts related to CAP rights, new labour regulations affecting temporary agricultural-livestock contracts or environmental crime in agriculture will be discussed.<\/p>\n The member of the General Council of the Judiciary, Pilar Sepul\u00falveda Garc\u00eda de la Torre, will be in charge of closing the course on the 15th of March.<\/p>\n The course is part of the agreement signed between the General Council of the Judiciary and the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, whose aim is to organise training actions for judges and magistrates.
