In 1537, In\u00e9s Su\u00e1rez left for the Indies in search of her husband, Juan de M\u00e1laga, whom she had not heard from for ten years. This risky adventure will take the young seamstress from Plasencia to the conquest of Chile.<\/p>\n

Borja Gonz\u00e1lez is a comic book author and illustrator who was born in Badajoz. He began publishing in various fanzines and later worked as a professional illustrator. He released his first album, La boca del lobo<\/em>, in 2012. In 2014 he founded the publishing label \u201cEl verano del cohete\u201d along with Mayte Alvarado and Rui D\u00edaz. In 2015 he published his second album, In\u00e9s Su\u00e1rez<\/em>, for the book collection Extreme\u00f1os en Iberoam\u00e9rica-Historieta<\/em>, published by CEXECI. In 2016 he released his third album, La reina Orqu\u00eddea<\/em>. Then came The Black Holes<\/em> (Reservoir Books, 2018), the first part of the trilogy \u201cLas tres noches\u201d In 2021 he released his fourth album, Grito nocturno<\/em>, edited by Dargaud in the Franco-Belgian market and by Reservoir Books in its Spanish edition.\u00a0 Thanks to this work, Borja Gonz\u00e1lez won the 2023 National Comic Prize, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. This same year he has concluded the trilogy with the publication of El p\u00e1jaro y la serpiente<\/em>.<\/p>\n
