<\/a><\/p>\nThe European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, along with the University of Extremadura and the Research Centre for Ibero-American Studies of the Rey Juan Carlos University (CEIB-URJC) opened the deadline for the submission of papers for the 5TH <\/sup>International Congress on Relations between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, to be held on 10 April at the Royal Monastery of Santa Mar\u00eda de Guadalupe under the title \u201cEconomy and International Conflicts\u201d. <\/strong>(20\/12\/2023)<\/p>\n The call is addressed to young researchers, doctoral candidates and doctors who have read their theses ten years ago maximum.<\/p>\n The priority thematic lines of the congress that papers must conform to must be limited to the historical relations between America and Extremadura, and the historical and current international relations between Latin America and Europe.<\/p>\n Among the objectives of this congress we can highlight the need to keep delving into the interaction that has taken place over five centuries between the Americas and Europe; to make progress in studies on migratory flows between the Americas, Extremadura and Europe; and to increase the debate between both regions by enabling the participation of young researchers in the fields of international relations and the history of Latin America with their submitted papers.<\/p>\n Those interested can submit their research work in Spanish, English or Portuguese until 15 February 2024 via the following email address: congreso.guadalupe@fundacionyuste.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n To facilitate attendance to the congress, the organisation will give up to ten financial grants, which will cover the accommodation and living expenses in Guadalupe.<\/p>\n
