Fifty judges, magistrates, notaries, and registrars from different parts of Spain will gather on March 12 and 13 at the \u201c2nd<\/sup> Ibero-American and European Agricultural and Livestock Law Course\u201d, organised for the second consecutive year by the General Council of the Judiciary and the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation. <\/strong>(09\/03\/2024)<\/p>\n

This activity, which is part of the General Council of the Judiciary\u2019s national training plan, aims to highlight and bring visibility to a sector that has been little explored from the perspective of legal science, especially from an international dimension.<\/p>\n

The regime of agricultural leases, agrarian law in Ibero-America, and the system of shared ownership as a mechanism for real equality in the rural world are some of the topics that will be analysed during the two days that the congress lasts.<\/p>\n

Among the attendees, notable figures include the president of the General Council of the Judiciary, Vicente Guilarte Guti\u00e9rrez, and the magistrate of the 2nd<\/sup> Chamber of the Supreme Court, Pablo Llarena Conde, who will deliver an address entitled \u201cEl delito de fraude de subvenciones\u201d. Additionally, the head of unit of the Directorate General of Agriculture of the European Union, Mar\u00eda Gafo G\u00f3mez-Zamalloa; the professor of Agricultural Law at the University of Verona, Leonardo Pastorino; the secretary-general of Equality and Conciliation of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Mar\u00eda del Ara S\u00e1nchez Vera; and the secretary-general of the Jijona and Turr\u00f3n de Alicante Regulatory Council of the Protected Geographical Indications and secretary of the association ORIGEN ESPA\u00d1A, Federico Moncunill Gallo, will participate.<\/p>\n

The course is co-directed by the president of the Superior Court of Justice of Extremadura, Mar\u00eda F\u00e9lix Tena Arag\u00f3n, and the director of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno Pi\u00f1ero.<\/p>\n

It counts with the collaboration of the Notarial College of Extremadura and the College of Registrars of Property, Mercantile, and Movable Goods of Spain.<\/p>\n
