Inge Schoenthal Feltrinelli<\/h2>

\u00a0Sill\u00f3n Clara Zetkin <\/strong><\/p>

Inge Feltrinelli naci\u00f3 y creci\u00f3 en Alemania. Antes de establecerse en 1960 en Mil\u00e1n, viaj\u00f3, como reportero gr\u00e1fico, por todo el mundo, entrevistando entre otros a Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso y Simone de Beauvoir y muchas otras personalidades de fama universal.<\/p>

En 1969 Inge Feltrinelli fue nombrada Vicepresidente de la Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore, la editorial fundada en 1955 por Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. Tras la muerte del fundador, en 1972, Inge Feltrinelli fue nombrada Presidente de la editorial y desde entonces desarroll\u00f3 su herencia, trabajando principalmente con los editores internacionales: para dar a conocer a los autores italianos en el exterior y para hacer llegar a Italia importantes escritores extranjeros. Se volc\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n de modo particular en la apertura de 98 nuevas Librer\u00edas Feltrinelli repartidas por toda Italia.<\/p>

Inge Feltrinelli desempe\u00f1a el cargo de Presidente Honorario en la sociedad Librer\u00edas Feltrinelli tras la segmentaci\u00f3n entre la actividad editorial y la red de venta occurrida en 1998.<\/p>

Inge Feltrinelli es adem\u00e1s Consejera de la Fundaci\u00f3n Giangiacomo Feltrinelli y miembro del Comit\u00e9 Promotor de la Escuela de Libreros \u201cUmberto y Elisabetta Mauri\u201d.<\/p>

A lo largo de su carrera recibi\u00f3 numerosos reconocimientos por su compromiso permanente con la promoci\u00f3n de la cultura. Fue nombrada \u201cCh\u00e9valier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres de la R\u00e9publique Fran\u00e7aise\u201d, \u201cCaballero de la Orden del M\u00e9rito de la Rep\u00fablica Italiana\u201d, la Universidad de Ferrara le concedi\u00f3 la investidura como Doctor honoris causa en Pedagog\u00eda y recibi\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo honor\u00edfico de Acad\u00e9mico de Brera, en Mil\u00e1n.<\/p>

Inge Feltrinelli fue condecorada con la \u201cCruz de Caballero de la Orden del M\u00e9rito de la Rep\u00fablica Federal de Alemania\u201d y el t\u00edtulo \u201cCommandeur dans l\u2019Ordre des Arts et des Lettres\u201d, la Universidad Libre de Lenguas y Comunicaci\u00f3n IULM de Mil\u00e1n le otorg\u00f3 la investidura como Doctor honoris causa en Lenguas y Literaturas Extranjeras y recibi\u00f3 el nombramiento como Consejero de la Fundaci\u00f3n Familia Siegfried y Ulla Unseld de la editorial alemana Suhrkamp de Frankfurt.<\/p>

En ocasi\u00f3n de la XX Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara, a Inge Feltrinelli le otorgaron el Reconocimiento al M\u00e9rito Editorial 2006.<\/p>
