Bronislaw Geremek<\/h2>

\u00a0Sill\u00f3n Ludwig van Beethoven <\/strong><\/p>

Bronislaw Geremek naci\u00f3 en Varsovia en 1932. <\/span><\/p>

Licenciado por la Universidad de Varsovia en 1954, titular de un doctorado del Instituto de Historia de la Academia de Ciencias polacas.<\/p>

Fue Diputado del Sejm (c\u00e1mara baja del Parlamento de Polonia) desde 1989, y sirvi\u00f3 como Ministro de Asuntos exteriores de la Rep\u00fablica de Polonia desde 1997 hasta el a\u00f1o 2000. Adem\u00e1s de lo se\u00f1alado anteriormente, ha asumido importantes compromisos pol\u00edticos y parlamentarios como ser el Presidente de \"Uni\u00f3n para la libertad\"(2000-2001), Miembro del Comit\u00e9 del Sejm de Legislaci\u00f3n Europea (2000-2001), etc.<\/p>

Anteriormente fue miembro del Partido Polaco Unido (1950).<\/p>

Ha sido reconocido con varios Galardones de Honor y premios internacionales.<\/p>

Autor de un gran n\u00famero de libros. Los m\u00e1s recientes: Bronislaw Geremek en Dialogo con J.C. Vidal, (Madrid 1997), Pasiones Comunes (Par\u00eds 1993), La Democracia en Europa (con R Daherndorf y F. Furet, Rome 1993), etc.<\/p>
