The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Spanish Economic and Social Council (CES) signed a framework cooperation agreement today in Madrid aimed at promoting joint activities in the academic, scientific, cultural and research fields.

Yuste Foundation, together with the Ministry of Defence, have organised the “3rd Sessions on Security and Defence in the Ibero-American Space”, which will be held in the afternoons of 30 September and 1 October in the assembly hall of the Defence Subdelegation in Cáceres.

Germana de Foix, queen consort of Aragón and viceroy of Valencia, will be the central figure in the musical repertoire performed by the ensemble Piacere Dei Traversi as part of the Emperor’s Concert series, taking place on Saturday, 27 September, at 1 pm, at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste.

The musical ensemble Carmina Terrarum will perform next Saturday, 20 September, at 1 p.m. at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste, as part of the Emperor’s Concert Series organised by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation together with Patrimonio Nacional.

The Patio of the Royal Miners’ Hospital of San Rafael at the Minas de Almadén–Parque Minero will host a concert by the ensemble Camara Antiqva on 6 September at 8 p.m., which will perform the programme “Concierto de Extremadura al Nuevo Mundo”. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the music of the time of emperor Charles V in a historic setting certified with the European Heritage Label.
