Yuste Foundation Offers 120 Grants for the Campus Yuste Training Programme
In order to cover tuition fees as well as accommodation and meals, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation is offering 120 grants to support the participation and presence of university students, researchers, experts and professionals interested in the Campus Yuste courses, which will be held at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste this coming July. (11/04/2025)
Each course has 30 grants available and are the following: “40 Years Since Spain Joined the EEC”, taking place from 2 to 4 July; “Preparing Spain’s Transition”, from 9 to 11 July; “The New World Order and the Atlantic Axis”, from 16 to 18 July; and finally, “Health, Illness and Nutrition During the Reign of Charles V”, from 23 to 25 July. The grants will be awarded through a competitive selection process.
Eligible applicants include those enrolled in official university degree programmes, as well as individuals who obtained their degree within the five years prior to the publication of the call and who are currently unemployed or hold a valid internship contract.
Selection will be based on academic merit, with priority given to applicants with the highest average grade in their degree (bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent degree). In the case of first-year university students, selection will be based on their university entrance mark.
Applications, along with the required documentation, can be submitted by completing the form available at the following link: https://www.fundacionyuste.org/en/becas/ by 15 May. They can also be submitted physically at Yuste Foundation’s registry, located at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste, or through postal offices.
The deadline for resolving and notifying the decision is three months from the day following the closing date for applications. The outcome of the process will be individually notified to each applicant and published on Yuste Foundation’s website.
The Campus Yuste courses, part of the 26th edition of the International Summer-Autumn Courses of the University of Extremadura, are held in collaboration with the Regional Government of Extremadura, the University of Extremadura, Patrimonio Nacional, Mafresa, the Provincial Council of Cáceres, and the Provincial Council of Badajoz.
