The church of the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste will host two concerts as part of the Emperor’s Music Concert Series, an initiative that brings the musical heritage associated with Charles V, his era and his historical and cultural legacy to the public. The series is organised by Patrimonio Nacional and the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, with the collaboration of the Cooperation Network of the Routes of Emperor Charles V, the Regional Government of Extremadura, the Provincial Council of Cáceres and the Provincial Council of Badajoz and the European Heritage Label. Admission to both concerts will be free, subject to capacity.

The director general of External Action and member of the board of trustees of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Pablo Hurtado, reaffirmed today that Extremadura is committed to cooperation as the only way to solve present and future challenges at the inauguration of the International Congress “Cultural Routes and Itineraries for the Development of Territories”. In his view, understanding, respect, and collaboration are universal values that can address current and future challenges and conflicts.
