Yuste Foundation has launched the project “Youth and Human Rights Activism” along with the Extremaduran Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AEXCID) with the aim of creating a meeting, support and networking platform of people interested in generating messages that transform society and raise awareness of the importance and value of respect for universal human rights.

The European Disability Forum held the 5th European Parliament of Persons with Disabilities yesterday under the theme “Building an inclusive future for persons with disabilities in the EU”. This event counted with the financial support, together with the European Parliament and the European Commission, of Yuste Foundation through the financial endowment of the Carlos V European Award, which was delivered to the European Disability Forum in 2022.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation held the 16th Carlos V European Award ceremony this Tuesday at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste. In this edition, the award was delivered to the Portuguese politician and Secretary-General of the UN, António Guterres. The ceremony was presided over by King Felipe VI.

The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, will receive the Carlos V European Award next Tuesday, 9 May, at 11 am at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste during a ceremony that will be presided over by His Majesty King Felipe VI, who is the honorary president of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has been awarded the “European Cultural Activity Award” by Aquí Europa-Canal Europa. The Director of External Action and President of Yuste Foundation’s Executive Committee, Rosa Balas, received the award from the Ambassador of Spain to the Kingdom of Belgium, Alberto Antón Cortés, during a ceremony in Brussels.
