Yuste Foundation receives close to 650 applications for the courses included in Campus Yuste

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has received close to 650 applications for the eight courses offered within its Campus Yuste programme. Of the training offer, six are part of the 23rd edition of the University of Extremadura’s international summer-autumn courses and two will be held through the Latin American Virtual Campus, Aula-Cavila. The educational sessions will be held from June to September at the Monastery of Yuste (Cáceres) and in Guadalupe and can be followed online.

The Carlos V European Award recognises the contribution to the European integration process through the defence of the people with disabilities’ rights

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation held the 15th Carlos V European Award ceremony this Wednesday at the Royal Monastery of Yuste. In this edition, the prize has been awarded to the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the ceremony was presided over by H.M. the King of Spain, Felipe VI. This award recognises the promotion of a more inclusive, just and egalitarian Europe and contributes to the process of European integration by defending the values of the European Union on an equal footing and without discrimination.

Felipe VI will deliver the Carlos V European Award to the European Disability Forum

His Majesty King Felipe VI, Honorary President of Yuste Foundation, will preside over the ceremony of the 15th Carlos V European Award, which is awarded by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation on Wednesday, 11 May, at the Monastery of Yuste, at 12h. In this edition, the award has been granted to the European Disability Forum and its president, the Greek Yannis Vardakastanis, will be in charge of collecting it.
