The Diplomatic School visits Yuste Foundation in order to learn about its work and the historical significance of Yuste

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation will be visited by students from the Diplomatic School on Tuesday, 6th of June. They will learn about the Foundation’s work as well as the significance of this historic place as far as international relations are concerned. (05/06/2023)

Among others, the event will count with participants such as the director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno, who will give an account of the historical and political significance of Yuste; the professor of Public International Law and International Relations of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Cástor Díaz Barrado, and it will be attended by the honorary president of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Spanish Law, José Antonio Escudero, who will give the conference entitled, “Proposals on the independence of America made from Spain”.

The Diplomatic School is a public institution under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain. At the Diplomatic School, the selection process for admission to the Diplomatic Career is carried out. Its tasks include the continuous training of diplomatic officers; the training of diplomatic officers in internships; the organisation of master’s degrees, courses and seminars for university graduates, Spaniards and foreigners; including foreign diplomats and other interested groups on matters related to international relations and Spanish foreign policy. It also serves as a public platform for the discussion of issues relating to international relations, particularly Spanish interests and foreign policy.

This event is organised by the Spanish Diplomatic School, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Centre for Studies on Ibero-America of the Rey Juan Carlos University.
