The new book of the Italian influential intellectual, author of the best seller novel ‘The Name of the Rose’ and important treaties on semiotics, is a fiction story set in 1992 that makes a critique from inside of the journalism profession. Thanks to the ravings of a paranoid editor, Eco tells true histories but reconstructed from outlandish theories or strangely intertwined with others and that end up creating a new story.

It is the seventh novel of Eco, who has published also the ‘Prague Cemetery “and” Foucault’s Pendulum’, among others.
