WEBINAR “GUADALUPE, A JOURNEY BETWEEN EUROPE AND THE EAST”

The webinar “Guadalupe, a Journey Between Europe and the East” included in the cycle of meetings “Guadalupe as a Destiny”, is part of Guadalupe’s events of exceptional public interest: the “25th Anniversary of the Declaration of the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO” and the “Holy Year of Guadalupe 2021”.

It is organised by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation in collaboration with the City Council of Guadalupe.

The meeting will feature the participation of Antonio Ventura Díaz Díaz, Vice President of the Regional Government of Extremadura (1989-1993) and regional Minister for Culture (1993-1995), under whose charge Guadalupe was declared a World Heritage Site. Director of Yuste Foundation until 2013 and Pilar Mogollón Cano-Cortés, Professor of Art History at the University of Extremadura.

Yuste Foundation wished to organise this cycle of meetings with the aim of holding a series of sessions of public interest, promoting dialogue on issues such as governance, science, history and culture.
