Young people from different universities throughout Spain and five other European countries have taken part in the call for grants for the international summer courses organized by the European Academy of Yuste Foundation and the University of Extremadura, within the framework of the Campus Yuste program.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Accession of Spain and Portugal to the European Economic Community, Enrique Barrasa Sánchez, Director of the European Academy of Yuste Foundation and Director-General for External Action, emphasized that the Royal Monastery of Yuste, the headquarters of the Foundation, is “one of the emblematic sites of the European Union” and should therefore be “a source of pride for all the people of Extremadura”.

The European Academy of Yuste Foundation offers a total of 120 grants to cover registration, accommodation and upkeep costs at the international summer school of the 2015 Campus Yuste program. The grants are designed for students who are studying for official university qualifications during the 2014-2015 academic year in any of the countries of the European Union.
