As a continuation of the 3rd International Congress on “Relations Between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe: Images and Views on Both Shores”, which was held in March at the Royal Monastery of Guadalupe (Spain), the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has organised the 4th International Congress on “Relations Between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe: Shared Values and Common Challenges” along with the Research Centre for Studies on Ibero-America of the Rey Juan Carlos University and the University of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), which is to be held at the auditorium of the cloister of San Agustin of the University of Cartagena de Indias on 13 and 14 April 2023.

More than a hundred participants from 24 countries have registered in the 3rd International Congress on “Relations between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe: Images and Views on Both Shores”, which is taking place on the 21st and 22nd of March at the Royal Monastery of Guadalupe.

The doctoral thesis “Revolución e indulgencia. La política de indultos en la última Nueva España, 1808-1821”, written by the Mexican researcher Óscar Zárate Miramontes, won the 7th Research Prize to Ibero-American Doctoral Theses that is granted by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation.
