The European Academy of Yuste Foundation in collaboration with National Heritage have organised the Music for Charles V and his children concert on Saturday, 18 June at 13.00 hours at the Royal Monastery of Yuste. The hearing, which is part of the cycle ‘The Emperor’s Concerts’ will be performed by the choir Zenobia Scholars and directed by the English master Rupert Darmerell.

Peter Shaffer, a member of the European Academy of Yuste, passes away

The English playwright Peter Shaffer, a member of the European Academy of Yuste, passed away on Monday at the age of 90 after a short illness. Shaffer had been a member of the European Academy of Yuste since 1998 when he took over the Cervantes Chair during the ceremony of the Carlos V European Award, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Belgium, Wilfried Martens.

The European Academy of Yuste Foundation offers ten mobility grants aimed at university students enrolled in the Degree in Public Administration and Management or Degree in Law, to participate in the international course ‘Media and Human Rights: Ambivalences of the fourth power in the digital age’ which will be held from 27 June to 1 July at the International Bureau of Education of UNESCO in Geneva (Switzerland).
