-To understand the historical evolution of Spain.

-To get to know the importance of Spanish republican exile in general and particularly in Chile.

-To study this specific Spanish-Chilean phenomenon in its different perspectives: historical, political, literary, architectural, etc.

-To analyse the various consequences for its protagonists.

-To convey a message of recognition to the members of the Chilean exile.
