IBERIAN AND TRANSATLANTIC CULTURAL DIALOGUES. IDENTITIES IN CONTACT
Online, from 29 September to 3 October 2020
The main objective of the course is to offer a rigorous and up-to-date view of the relations between Portugal and Spain with Latin America, from the cultural field. It aims to offer a plural and dynamic vision of the numerous contact flows established between these spaces in modernity, through a methodology that favours a perspective in which subjects such as literature, language, journalism and history are based.
Including first-level speakers (university professors, writers, representatives of cultural institutions, journalists) who have addressed from various starting points the numerous dialogues established between the Iberian Peninsula and the Ibero-American continent, the course also aims to offer a faithful image of the areas of contact existing between territories that share the Portuguese and Spanish languages, among other cultural ties of great importance in a global world in which the so-called “cultural diplomacy” increasingly takes on a leading role.
The courses will online from 16:00h. to 19:30h. (Madrid-CET)
