Students from the fourth year of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) at Extremadura Secondary School from Montijo have won their way through to the final of the 6th regional competition on the prevention of drug use in leisure and free time among young people in Extremadura, held today in Almendralejo at the head offices of the Caja Almendralejo Savings Bank.

Extremadura supports the “European Routes of Emperor Charles V” cooperation network
Around 5,000 people from all over Spain toured the trail that joins Jarandilla de la Vera to the Monastery of Yuste, recreating the last journey of the Emperor Charles V from Laredo (Cantabria) to the Monastery (Extremadura). The Extremadura trail is part of the European Routes of Emperor Charles V cooperation network, where the European Academy of Yuste Foundation has been actively involved since the establishment of the network in 2007.

The European Academy of Yuste Foundation presided over the signing of a partnership agreement between the European Routes of Emperor Charles V Network and the Chocolate Way at the Cervantes Institute headquarters in Brussels on February 5th. The event was co-organized by the Foundation, the Consortium of European Routes of Emperor Charles V and the Chocolate Way.
