Yuste Foundation is awarded with a “Guadalupe-Hispanidad” Prize for the promotion of international understanding and integration among European and Ibero-American nations

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has been awarded a “Guadalupe-Hispanidad” Prize given by the Royal Knights’ Association of Santa María of Guadalupe.

The Governing Board of this association has specified that this prize is awarded due to the Foundation’s “vocation and dedication to foster international understanding and integration among European and Ibero-American nations, disseminating culture and values, such as respect, liberty and tolerance among people”.

The Academic Director of Yuste Foundation, César Chaparro, will receive the award during the ceremony held tomorrow, Saturday 6 October, at 20:30 pm at the Auditorium of the Royal Monastery of Santa María in Guadalupe in the framework of the Hispanicity (Hispanidad) Sessions.

In this edition the Brigade “Extremadura XI” and the Religious Institute “Esclavos de María y de los Poderes” have also been award winners.

The Royal Knights’ Association of Santa María of Guadalupe intends to give recognition to persons or entities that “have stood out in the projection of religious and cultural values that emerge from the name, history, art and geographical expansion of the toponym Guadalupe with their effort and dedication”.
