The President of the Regional Government of Extremadura and President of the Board of Trustees of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Guillermo Fernández Vara, has called for cohesion between European countries in the social, economic and territorial field on Monday, in order to address the challenges of the upcoming months and years.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation organises four free access online courses within its training programme Campus Yuste, which aims to develop specialised courses and meetings from a multidisciplinary point of view, aimed at promoting debate and reflection on the process of European construction, integration and current affairs, as well as other issues related to the history and memory of Europe and Ibero-America, the historical stage of Charles V, and the founding objectives of the foundation.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Iberian Film Festival of Badajoz invite young people who reside in Extremadura to become part of the Young Jury, which will be responsible for deciding for the Luis Alcoriza Award of the Iberian Film Festival. The latter celebrates its 26th edition in Badajoz, Olivenza and San Vicente de Alcántara from 22 to 25 July.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has included the proposal “Iberian and Transatlantic Cultural Dialogues. Identities in Contact” in the 2020 Campus Yuste Programme courses. It will be held virtually from 29 September to 3 October.
