Yuste Foundation Organises a Webinar to Analyse Current and Future Relations Between the European Union and Ibero-America

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has organised the webinar “What else can we do together? European Union- Ibero-American Relations in the Face of Global and Current Challenges”, which will take place on 14 July at 18:00 pm. with the aim to create debate on how different institutions and organisations from the public, but also from the sphere of civil society, can respond to current and global challenges together, which, if already complex, have increased dramatically due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This webinar, within the framework of the Aula Abierta programme, counts with the collaboration of two members of Yuste’s Academy, who stand out for their work and experience in the field of Euro-Ibero-American relations: Rebeca Grynspan, Ibero-American Secretary General, and Ramón Jáuregui, President of Euréamerica Foundation. Moreover, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean of the Spanish Government, Cristina Gallach, and the Co-president of the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly of the European Parliament, Javi López, will participate in the event. The Director General for External Action of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Rosa Balas and the Director of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno will open the encounter. This online event counts with the collaboration of the Instituto Cervantes in Brussels.

With the organisation of this webinar, the Foundation intends to collaborate in the search for joint and coordinated responses within the geopolitical framework that mark the UE-Latin American relations and see how the emergence from one of the greatest crises experienced in the continent in recent decades with consequences in the fields of health, society, politics and the economy may occur.
