The European Academy of Yuste Foundation and Patrimonio Nacional (National Heritage) put on a series of concerts entitled Conciertos del Emperador (The Emperor’s Concerts) to commemorate the death of Charles V and Bosch
To commemorate the death of Charles V on 21 September 1558 the European Academy of Yuste Foundation, in collaboration with Patrimonio Nacional, has organised a concert entitled Música de España y Flandes en torno a 1500 (Spanish and Flemish Music in the 1500s) next Sunday 25 September at 13.00 at the Royal Monastery of Yuste.

The European Academy of Yuste Foundation attended a European Routes of Charles V Cooperation Network executive committee meeting at Coudenberg Palace (a former Charles V palace) in Brussels on Wednesday 7th September.
Reinhard Selten, economist and member of the European Academy of Yuste Foundation has died
Economist and mathematician Reinhard Selten, member of the European Academy of Yuste, died on 23 August in Poland. Selten had been a member of the European Academy of Yuste since 1998 when he took the Shakespeare seat in the Charles V European Award ceremony, attended by then Prime Minister of Belgium, Wilfried Martens.
50 young people from Portugal, Italy, Georgia, and Spain, take part in Yuste conference on social leadership, the European integration process, and the challenges facing Europe
The event on 5th August was organised by the European Academy of Yuste Foundation and Cáceres Rotary Club, EBS Business School, and the Organización Juventud Nueva (New Youth Organisation). It was held at the Royal Monastery of Yuste, the Foundation’s headquarters, and examined social leadership, the process of European integration, and the challenges facing Europe.
Governing Board appoints Juan Carlos Moreno Piñero as Managing Director of the European Academy of Yuste Foundation
The Governing Board of the Regional Government of Extremadura has agreed to appoint Juan Carlos Moreno Piñero as Managing Director of the European Academy of Yuste Foundation. His appointment was proposed by the European Academy of Yuste Foundation Board of Trustees who met on 18th July 2016.
