CHARLES V, VITORIA AND ERASMUS IN YUSTE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS

From the 6th to the 8th of June 2018, at the Royal Monastery of Yuste

International congress organised by the Institute for European Studies of the San Pablo-CEU University in collaboration with the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the University of Salamanca.

This event is chaired by Marcelino Oreja Aguirre and José María Beneyto and coordinated by Justo Corti. Approximately 20 experts, including academicians, jurists, historians and philosophers, will analyse how the ideas coming from Salamanca influenced the politics of Emperor Charles V as did Erasmus’ humanism or the diverse changes that occurred during the Reformation.
