Yuste Foundation and the Cervantes Institute Sign an Action Protocol for Academic and Cultural Activities
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Cervantes Institute have signed a general action protocol aimed at establishing a framework of collaboration between the two institutions for the development of academic and cultural actions and activities of mutual interest through the subsequent signing of specific agreements.

Campus Yuste Begins with a Course that Commemorates the 40th Anniversary of Spain’s Accession to the EEC
To mark the 40th anniversary of the signing of Spain’s Treaty of Accession to the European Economic Community, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has organised a course entitled “40 Years Since Spain Joined the European Economic Community”, which will take place from 2 to 4 July at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste. The course forms part of the Campus Yuste educational programme, which is affiliated with the 26th edition of the University of Extremadura’s International Summer/Autumn Courses.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has organized the Carlos V European Award Doctoral Seminar on Multidisciplinary Studies on Contemporary Europe–Angela Merkel, entitled “The Fortune of Being United: Securing and Strengthening Europe’s Cohesion”, which will bring together eighteen researchers from Cuba, Spain, Bulgaria, and Malaysia, as well as experts from Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Serbia, Belgium, and Peru, from June 23 to 26, at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste.

Yuste Foundation and the Iberian Film Festival of Badajoz Encourage Young People Residing in Extremadura to Be Part of the Young Jury
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the Iberian Film Festival of Badajoz encourage young people between the ages of 18 and 30, who reside in Extremadura, to be part of the Young Jury for the official short film section of the 31st Iberian Film Festival, which will take place from 7 to 11 July 2025, in Badajoz, Olivenza, and San Vicente de Alcántara. This Young Jury will be responsible for deciding the “Luis Alcoriza” Award.

In order to cover tuition fees as well as accommodation and meals, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation is offering 120 grants to support the participation and presence of university students, researchers, experts and professionals interested in the Campus Yuste courses, which will be held at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste this coming July.
