The director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Fernando Pizarro, held a working meeting with the Regional Minister for Finance and Public Administration of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Elena Manzano, to present the activities and new areas of work being developed for inclusion in the 2027–2030 Strategic Plan, which is currently being drawn up. During the meeting, Pizarro offered the Regional Ministry for Finance and Public Administration the Foundation’s Aula Magna, a spacious venue equipped with the technical facilities required to host meetings, conferences and other institutional activities.

For her part, the Regional Minister for Finance and Public Administration made a number of contributions to the Foundation’s working document with a view to improving the institution’s management in terms of human and technical resources. In addition, both institutions agreed to maintain regular and ongoing contact to help ensure the Foundation operates as effectively as possible.

The meeting forms part of the round of contacts Pizarro has been holding since taking up his position as director of the Foundation last July, with the aim of driving forward new proposals, establishing different avenues for collaboration and strengthening the institution’s role as an instrument at the service of Extremadura and its people.
