Universal Accessibility, Social Inclusion and Leverage for Change Towards Equality

Monastery of Yuste (Cáceres), from 21 to 23 September 2022

In continuity with the course held in 2021, a face-to-face and practical training on accessibility issues is proposed, understanding that training, in any professional activity, must contribute to respect for and the strengthening of human rights and fundamental freedoms, where universal accessibility is the necessary mechanism to ensure that these rights and freedoms can be enjoyed by all persons on an equal footing.

The aim of this activity is to develop a specific and qualified training that is capable of transmitting to professionals the necessary notions to conceive environments, processes, goods or products that are understandable, usable and practicable by all people in conditions of safety, comfort, in the most autonomous and natural way possible, in all social aspects of life.

Another aim is to offer training to combine the principles inherent in universal accessibility with professional practice. A way to improve knowledge, so that professionals of any discipline, in their daily exercise, are able to achieve the full and independent enjoyment and equal conditions of all people.
